José lead a Spare Time Shares all about drawing abstractly. What that means is breaking down your image into pieces and drawing each piece separately until the piece is complete.
He first had everyone think of what they wanted to draw and then break that down into a word. For example, Lindsey wanted to draw a cactus so she broke that down into pot, plant, and so on.
After everyone had a chance to do a little drawing it was time to swap and edit. The drawings rotated around the room to a different person. At the end of the session all the drawings were transformed into interesting collaborations.
