At the end of June, IBM Cambridge took a break from their work and learned how to draw using many IBMer’s favorite material... code! Some attendees were more comfortable with code and some were more familiar with drawing, but everyone learned something new when they had to do both. Lily Chen walked everyone through building simple shapes using CSS. Once everyone got the hang of the essentials of CSS, we jumped to drawing people using code. We walked through building a head, hair, eyes and a body. We even threw in some animation and made our person read and blink. Thank you to everyone who made it out this month. Looking forward to many more Spare Time Shares!
